What Makes Zo CBD Unique?

Enso Nutraceuticals' Zo CBD Oil™ is made from our non-GMO hemp grown on our farm in Colorado using pesticide-free natural farming methods. The company’s founders, the Farley brothers, oversee every aspect of the process from initial soil testing to harvest, extraction, packaging, and distribution.

What are the Benefits of Zo CBD?

Phytocannabinoids, which are compounds from the hemp plant like Cannabidiol (CBD), are commonly used to support people that suffer from anxiety or sleep issues. Studies suggest that CBD along with the other dominant phytocannabinoids in Zo CBD like CBC and CBN may help with both falling asleep and staying asleep. These compounds are also helpful in naturally reducing inflammation and supports normal brain function and health. Why don’t we list more benefits? Because the FDA only allows us to say our product is good for relaxation and sleep. While many customers report benefits for a variety of issues, any company making additional claims is violating the law.

Why is Lab Testing Important?

Our products are verified by an ISO/IEC 17025 certified third-party testing facility to verify the phytocannabinoid and terpene profiles to ensure you get what you pay for. This testing also ensures the safety of our product, providing evidence that our products are free from contaminants like heavy metals, pesticides, molds and harmful bacteria. Enso Nutraceuticals sets the standard for quality, that is why we provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA). Every bottle from our facility has a QR code on the label that directly allows access to the COA that corresponds to the product you purchased.

How does CBD work?

All phytocannabinoids produce effects in the body by interacting with cannabinoid receptors, which form part of your body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS). The body has two primary ECS receptors: CB1 receptors are present throughout the body, particularly in the brain. They help co-ordinate movement, pain, emotion, mood, thinking, appetite, memories, and other functions. CB2 receptors are more common in the immune system. They can affect inflammation and pain. Your body produces similar compounds known as endocannabinoids but like with so many other conditions the normal production of these compounds can be affected by stress or disease. This is why supplementation with phytocannabinoids, like CBD, is so popular. Phytocannabinoids may help restore the ECS’s primary function, which is homeostasis- or balance of our physiology.

Why our customers use Zo CBD

Zo CBD works with your body’s own endocannabinoid system, which controls various essential functions. People turn to CBD for a variety of reasons, often at the recommendation of their friends, family and medical Doctors. A recent survey suggests: 88% of CBD users report that CBD may help with mild or temporary anxiety. 89% of CBD users report that CBD may help calm their mind. 89% of CBD users report that CBD may help them get better sleep.

When is the best time to take CBD?

The time of day you choose to take CBD is based on what works for you and the reason for using it. Many CBD users take it in the morning, while others use it at the end of the day to aid with relaxation and sleep. We suggest trying CBD at different times of the day to see what works best for your specific needs.

Potential Side Effects from CBD

Most CBD users typically report no negative side effects from CBD oil, however, some have experienced lethargy, drowsiness and gastrointestinal upset which may include a change in appetite. If you take prescription medications, it’s also important to note that the CBD may negatively interact with them. Though uncommon please ask your primary care physician before trying CBD to confirm that is right for you.

Why don’t we list more benefits?

Because the FDA has strict regulations about making medical claims for products that are not FDA approved, we are limited with what we can say. The FDA has already approved a CBD product for seizure disorders in children, showing that there is indeed medical benefit. While many customers report benefits for a variety of issues, any company making additional claims is violating the law.

Why Choose Full Spectrum CBD?

Because full spectrum CBD contains many compounds from the hemp plant, it is believed to provide a more potent effect than pure CBD. Research suggests that CBD’s health benefits may be more effective when multiple compounds from the cannabis plant are present. This is what researchers call the ‘entourage effect.’ Full-spectrum CBD products contain a miniscule amount of THC but not enough to produce an intoxicating effect like seen with medical marijuana. We provide independent test results to verify our THC levels.

What is in our full spectrum CBD oil?

Our Full Spectrum CBD oil is extracted from hemp plants, which contain naturally occurring phytocannabinoids (including up to 0.3% of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), terpenes, flavonoids, healthy fatty acids, vitamins, minerals. These compounds work together, to create the “entourage effect,” believed to enhance the potential health benefits. CBD is one of the 113+ phytocannabinoid compounds that occurs naturally in hemp plants. What do terpenes do? Terpenes are the organic compounds responsible for creating the unique aroma of each individual plant. Terpenes do more than determine the scent fingerprint, they also provide their own therapeutic benefits. Most terpenes are also considered GRAS (Generally Referred to As Safe) by the FDA allowing them to be added to many food products we consume daily. Terpenes are also found throughout nature and in almost all produce we consume. Our tincture is suspended in MCT oil derived from coconuts. MCT or Medium Chain Triglycerides are a type of saturated fatty acid. Cannabidiol (CBD) is a fat-soluble compound so it is most efficiently absorbed, when coupled with a lipid or via transmucosal delivery- by placing some under your tongue.

How is Zo CBD oil Extracted?

Before our naturally cultivated, non-GMO hemp can be utilized to create our Zo CBD tincture, the phytocannabinoid-rich oil must be extracted from the plant. The CBD oil in our full-spectrum tincture is CO2 extracted. CO2 is also non-toxic and is used to create sparkling water and carbonated soft drinks.

What's the right dose for you?

To determine the ideal dose of Zo CBD, start with 5 to 10mg, then wait 3-4 hours. Increase, as necessary, to achieve desired effect. The suggested dose of CBD is 30 to 60mg daily. Individual results will vary.

How to Calculate Your Zo CBD Dose

To determine an exact dose of Zo CBD, remember that we always recommend starting with a low dose and gradually increasing over time (every week) to find the “sweet spot” that works for you. Doses may also go up and down depending on your health status. It is important to understand that plant supplements interact with each individual’s physiology differently.
